Daniel Flynn, counsel in the firm’s Environmental Department, will be a speaker at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2016 Environmental Law Forum, which will be held at the La Mer Beachfront Inn in Cape May from June 24-26, 2016. Mr. Flynn, a member of the NJSBA’s Environmental Law Section Board of Directors, will speak on the topic “TSCA in the 21st Century: Existing Regulation of Chemicals in Commerce and Looming Changes.”
Mr. Flynn focuses his practice on the environmental aspects of real property and business transactions, site remediation projects, environmental litigation management and avoidance, and compliance with environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations. In addition to providing guidance on environmental laws such as the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA), Mr. Flynn’s experience encompasses environmental compliance and risk management associated with workplace safety and product stewardship laws including the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), as well as related common law tort principles. He also assists solid waste service vendors obtain the required A-901 licenses and Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity required under New Jersey law to operate within the state.
