Greenbaum partner Steven G. Mlenak, who co-chairs the firm’s Community Association practice, will be a panelist for the “2025 Lunch with LAC – Legislative Update,” to be hosted by the Legislative Action Committee of the Community Associations Institute New Jersey Chapter (CAI-NJ) on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. The program will be held at the Concordia Community Clubhouse in Monroe Township from 11:30am – 2:30pm.
This presentation will provide an update on trending legislation directly affecting common interest communities in New Jersey, including corporate transparency, structural integrity, manager licensing, board member training and more.
Steve is currently serving as President of CAI-NJ. He maintains a strong practice in community association law, providing strategic guidance and general counseling to condominium and homeowners association clients across a broad range of legal issues. His work encompasses the interpretation and amendment of governing documents and by-laws, drafting contracts, collection of delinquent assessments, the enforcement of rules and regulations, operational and maintenance issues, the fiduciary responsibilities of board members, transition negotiations and litigation, Municipal Services Act compliance, and alternative dispute resolution. He further represents clients in construction defect litigation, Fair Housing discrimination cases and landlord-tenant matters.
