Robert B. Hille, a partner in the firm’s Healthcare and Litigation Departments, will lecture at the Essex County Bar Association’s 5th Annual Corporate Counsel Symposium, which will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, from 8:30am – 1:00pm, at the offices of Chiesa Shahinian & Giantomasi PC in Roseland. The program will also be offered for viewing online.
Mr. Hille will be a panelist for the symposium’s first session “AI Technology: Sounds Great But Where Are The Guardrails? How to Evaluate Risks and Benefits of AI for the Corporate Client.” A second session will deal with the effect recent Supreme Court cases have on DEI, affirmative action and corporate responsibility.
Greenbaum partner Mary E. Toscano, who co-chairs our Criminal Defense & Regulatory Compliance Practice Group, will introduce and then lead a fireside chat with the Symposium's Keynote Speaker, Karen D. Stringer, VP, Assistant General Counsel, and Deputy Chief Compliance Officer at Syneos Health.
Mr. Hille focuses his practice in the areas of insurance and healthcare law. He has extensive trial experience and has litigated a number of insurance defense and coverage, healthcare, professional liability defense, fraud and abuse, and regulatory matters. Mr. Hille has published and lectured widely in his areas of concentration. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.
Ms. Toscano is Secretary and a former Trustee of the Essex County Bar Association. She focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal corporate investigations and complex civil litigation. Her work encompasses the defense of clients in criminal investigations, RICO actions, contract and business disputes, and allegations of legal malpractice. She is experienced in all aspects of litigation and has tried numerous cases to verdict.
