Robert S. Goldsmith and Steven G. Mlenak will present a seminar on the “ABC’s of Housing Development” at the 2020 ASA-NAIFA Eastern Region Appraisal Conference, a two-day event sponsored by the American Society of Appraisers and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Their presentation, scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2020 from 10:15am – 2:30pm at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, will essentially function as a “crash course” in multi-family housing and related legal issues, to include the following topics:

As co-Chair of the firm’s Redevelopment & Land Use Department, Mr. Goldsmith's practice focuses on redevelopment, downtown and urban revitalization, transit oriented development, project financing and incentives, sustainable building initiatives and public-private partnerships. His experience encompasses counseling clients on the specialized issues in redevelopment related to parking demand, design and construction.
A member of the firm’s Real Estate and Redevelopment & Land Use Departments, Mr. Mlenak concentrates a majority of his practice in the area of community association law, providing strategic guidance and general counseling to association clients across a broad range of legal issues including construction defect litigation, Fair Housing discrimination cases and landlord-tenant matters. Mr. Mlenak also provides support and guidance to clients on a variety of land use matters, including site plan, subdivision and variance applications, and counsels both developers and municipalities on issues related to the redevelopment process.
