Kersten Kortbawi will serve as the moderator with the Hon. Donald A. Kessler (Ret.) participating as a panelist on the webinar “Advanced Mediation Training – Part 2 – Business Litigation,” to be presented by the Middlesex County Bar Association on Tuesday, July 22 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm.

This session will include commentary from the panelists as to the ‘Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ of mediation and will expose attendees to the seriousness of the mediation process and the need to apply high ethical standards, while also providing an opportunity to laugh during the mock proceedings.

Judge Kessler is Of Counsel to the Litigation Department. Since retiring from the bench in 2019, he has focused his private practice on resolving commercial and family law disputes through mediation and arbitration as an alternative to traditional litigation.  

Ms. Kortbawi is an associate in the Litigation Department. She concentrates her practice in commercial litigation, with experience at in both the federal and state court levels, including insurance defense matters, motor vehicle liability cases, personal injury actions, professional and premises liability cases, environmental claims and general liability matters.
