Christine F. Li, a partner in the firm’s Community Association Practice Group, will be participating in a Business Partner Best Practices Roundtable and Networking Reception, sponsored by the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI-NJ). The inaugural event will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Pines Manor in Edison. Registration and networking will begin at 5:30pm. Roundtable discussions will run from 6:30 – 8:30pm, and will be followed by a dessert reception and additional networking opportunities.
The roundtables have been designed to address key issues of concern to CAI-NJ’s business partners. Topics of discussion will include the effective use of social media, indemnification clauses and critical contract provisions, promoting company culture and boosting morale, and human resources pitfalls to avoid.
Ms. Li focuses her practice in condominium and planned real estate development law, including the conversion of rental properties to the condominium form of ownership, mixed-use developments, commercial and business condominiums, workouts of distressed communities, community association law, and the registration of planned real estate developments with the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. She has experience in the acquisition and sale, financing and leasing of commercial and residential real estate. She represents developers, sponsors of the conversion of rental properties, community associations, and lending institutions.
