Christopher D. Adams, Chair of the firm’s Criminal Defense & Regulatory Compliance Practice Group, will be a panelist at the “Criminal Law College: Effective Strategies For 2024,” to be presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) on Thursday, July 11, 2024, from 5:30pm – 8:45pm at the New Jersey Law Center. The program will also be available for viewing online.

This program will address the latest developments in New Jersey criminal law, including groundbreaking trends like artificial intelligence. From new methods to the latest courtroom developments, panelists will share their expertise, techniques and more. 

Mr. Adams will be a presenter for a segment on “Embracing AI in Criminal Law,” which will explore the transformative role of AI in criminal law, including its impact on criminal charges, evidence handling, and its strategic use by attorneys.  

Other segments of the program will focus on crafting compelling narratives for plea negotiations, trials, and sentencing hearings, and a presentation on lessons learned from some of New Jersey’s most high-profile criminal trials.

Mr. Adams, a partner in the Litigation and Healthcare Departments, concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, internal investigations, attorney ethics matters and disciplinary proceedings, and complex commercial litigation.  With a demonstrated track record of success in taking on difficult matters, he has tried cases in state and federal courts throughout the country.
