Mr. Nudelman is Chair of the firm’s Construction Contracting & Risk Management Practice Group and a member of the Construction Disputes Practice Group. For over 25 years he has represented members of the construction industry across a broad spectrum of matters. On the transactional side, he works with owners and developers, construction managers, general contractors, subcontractors and design professionals to prepare and negotiate contract documents for construction in the New Jersey and New York metropolitan area. This work helps his clients manage the risk inherent in construction projects so they may adequately protect their interests now to avoid claims and disputes in the future. When claims and disputes are unavoidable, Mr. Nudelman draws upon his wide-ranging experience in construction litigation, representing clients in state and federal courts and in local and international mediations and arbitrations.
Ms. Kortbawi is a member of the Construction Disputes Practice Group. An experienced commercial litigator, she represents plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation at both the state and federal level. Her work encompasses all phases of civil litigation, from pre-suit investigation through discovery, trial, and the appellate process. Ms. Kortbawi frequently handles sensitive, unique, and high-exposure matters, including those related to complex construction disputes, consumer fraud claims, private equity fraud, personal injury actions, and product liability matters. Her clients include individuals, privately held companies, publicly traded corporations, and governmental entities. Her experience also encompasses insurance defense matters, including those associated with motor vehicle liability, personal injury cases, professional liability, premises liability, environmental claims and general liability cases.
