Greenbaum attorneys Tamires M. Oliveira and Barry S. Sobel, members of the firm’s Family Law Department, will be panelists for the webinar “Family Law Hot Tips – Let’s Talk About Tech,” to be presented on Monday, October 14, 2024, from 9:00am – 1:00pm by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
This program will feature matrimonial attorneys discussing how technology touches the many facets of family law, including its impact on children, equitable distribution, domestic violence and trials and court, along with the use of artificial intelligence.
Ms. Oliveira will address issues related to cryptocurrency in family law matters. She assists in the firm's representation of clients in the area of family law. Her work encompasses matters related to divorce and separation proceedings, child custody and support, alimony, marital settlement agreements, domestic partnerships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, the valuation and distribution of marital assets, and post-judgment enforcement and modification applications.
Mr. Sobel will address issues related to social media and domestic violence. Focusing on the representation of clients in complex matrimonial litigation, his work encompasses issues related to divorce, spousal and child support, custody, and domestic violence. He has experience with cutting-edge concerns at the forefront of family law, including those related to cohabitation, retirement, and child relocation.
