Barry S. Goodman, a partner in the firm’s Litigation and Real Estate Departments and Chair of the Real Estate Brokerage Practice Group, will present the seminar “Legal Issues You Have To Understand to Stay Out of Real Estate Brokerage Jail!” on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 6:30pm – 7:30pm. The program, sponsored by Eastern Bergen County Board of REALTORS®, will be held at the Stoney Hill Inn in Hackensack, NJ.
During this presentation, Mr. Goodman will cover the following topics:
- Celebrating the Fair Housing Act
- Disclosing relevant information
- Coping with cyber security/advertising regulations
- Dealing with security cameras/teams
Mr. Goodman focuses his practice in commercial litigation, with a particular concentration in real estate and real estate brokerage issues and municipal law. Mr. Goodman is approved by the State of New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Real Estate Commission as a New Jersey Real Estate Continuing Education Instructor. He is General Counsel for New Jersey REALTORS®, lectures frequently to the real estate brokerage community and other industry organizations throughout the state, and has written extensively on topics related to real estate brokerage law.
