David L. Bruck, Chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Reorganization Practice Group and member of the Litigation Department, will be a speaker at this year’s Annual Meeting of the New Jersey Coalition of Automotive Retailers. The Meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 15th at the NJ conference & Expo Center in Edison, NJ. The subject of his remarks to dealership owners was strategies for dealing with the financial distress among automotive dealerships and manufacturers.
Mr. Bruck's practice is devoted in large part to the bankruptcy, reorganization and insolvency areas of the law. Included within this area is restructuring, financial planning, out of court workouts, state court receiverships and federal bankruptcies. Mr. Bruck is also involved in representing clients in partnership and shareholder disputes. He represents Chapter 11 debtors and other stakeholders in bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Bruck is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in the Bankruptcy and Creditor-Debtor Rights Law category and is a Master of The New Jersey Bankruptcy Inns of Court, as well as being a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute. In addition to frequently speaking at industry conferences and bar associations, he has appeared on Bloomberg L.P. television discussing bankruptcy among home builders.
