Nancy Isaacson, a partner in the firm’s Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring practice, will be a panelist at the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT) 2025 Annual Conference, which will be held at the Phoenician Hotel in Scottsdale, AZ on June 1-4, 2025.   

Nancy’s program, titled “Pitfalls of Being an Operating Subchapter V Trustee,” is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm. The session will explore the challenges faced by Subchapter V trustees who assume control of a debtor’s business. Using real-world case studies, the panel will discuss common pitfalls, legal ambiguities, and best practices for trustees operating under Sections 1183, 704, and 1106 of the Bankruptcy Code.

Nancy focuses her practice in bankruptcy and insolvency, with an emphasis on trustee and creditor rights law. She serves as a Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 11 Subchapter V Trustee for debtors in federal bankruptcy proceedings and has represented appellants in cases before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She has achieved a national profile in her area of practice through her involvement in a number of large bankruptcy matters representing tort claimants and landlords. She is an approved mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey.
