David C. Scott, a partner in the firm’s Environmental Department, will be a panelist for a seminar on “Site Remediation” at the 2024 Atlantic Builders Convention on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 2:00pm – 3:30pm. This year’s ABC Convention will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City.
Mr. Scott will join in a panel discussion of the implementation of regulatory requirements under the Site Remediation Reform Act and a review of other emerging requirements in the world of brownfield redevelopment.
Mr. Scott's environmental law practice emphasizes transactions, permitting, and regulatory compliance. He primarily provides counsel on environmental risks associated with real estate and business transactions, methods for mitigating those risks, and strategies for addressing environmental issues when they do arise, including the presence of hazardous substances in soil and groundwater, discharges from underground storage tanks, and the cleanup and remediation of contaminated sites.
