Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to announce that Jessica M. Carroll and Tamires M. Oliveira will be installed on the Board of Directors of the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, for a two-year term. In addition, Ms. Carroll will serve as a Director/Co-Chair of the NJWLA’s Marketing Committee, while Ms. Oliveira will serve as a Director/Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee. The NJWLA was founded in 1981 and is dedicated to the advancement of women in law.

Ms. Carroll is a partner in the firm’s Employment Law, Healthcare and Litigation Departments. Her practice emphasizes the representation of healthcare providers at the state and federal levels and in arbitration forums. She serves as counsel for hospitals in medical staffing and peer review disciplinary matters and provides risk management guidance on issues at the intersection of state laws and medical licensing regulations. She previously held co-chairing roles in several NJWLA committees and co-chaired the group’s Young Lawyers Division.

An associate in the firm’s Family Law Department, Ms. Oliveira assists clients in matters related to divorce and separation proceedings, child custody and support, alimony, marital settlement agreements, domestic partnerships, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, domestic violence cases, the valuation and distribution of marital assets, and post-judgment enforcement and modification applications. She is a member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Leadership Team.
