Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis is pleased announce that the firm is now a member of Circulate NJ. The coalition’s actively expanding list of 40+ member organizations represent all sectors of the logistics industry—which encompasses the Transportation, Logistics and Distribution (TLD) industries that fuel our supply chain—including port workers, warehouses, retail developers, trucking companies, and more.
Circulate NJ Chair David Greek, Managing Partner of Greek Real Estate Partners, comments: “If you are looking for knowledge regarding the legal issues associated with New Jersey’s logistics industry, the team at Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis has seen it all.” Greek continues: “Their work on behalf of clients has helped showcase what logistics means to the state. This is especially true in the area of brownfield remediation, where the logistics industry continues to be a leader. We greatly appreciate their support in joining Circulate NJ.”
Jack Fersko, who co-chairs the firm’s Real Estate practice, adds: “We are proud of Greenbaum’s long, established history in New Jersey, particularly our work in the commercial real estate, land use and environmental sectors. The logistics industry plays a key role in our state’s success, and we’ve been fortunate to partner with many of the industry’s leading companies and organizations on projects that have had a significant positive impact on the lives of New Jersey residents. Working together through Circulate NJ, we look forward to better informing those residents about the countless benefits the logistics industry brings into play.”
Circulate NJ’s coalition members are driving economic growth and success in towns across the state. Data from the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development shows the numerous benefits the TLD industry provides New Jersey, including:
- Supporting more than 400,000 jobs
- Employing 12% of the state’s private workforce and providing 12.7% of New Jersey private sector wages
- Providing an average $75,000 annual industry salary
- Contributing $62.5 billion, or 10%, to New Jersey’s overall GDP
Circulate NJ’s members have also been leaders in the environmental cleanup of brownfield sites. These hazardous locations often cost millions to rehabilitate and make usable for the public. Coalition members have played a key role in the cleanup and reuse of these sites across New Jersey.
