The law firm of Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP announces that Jessica F. Battaglia and Lisa J. Clapp have joined the firm as associates. Both are resident in the firm’s Woodbridge office.
Clapp is an associate in the firm’s Tax, Trusts & Estates Department. Prior to joining the firm, she served as an associate at another New Jersey law firm. She also served as a legal intern for the Honorable Ronald J. Hedges, United States District Court, District of New Jersey. Clapp is a graduate, cum laude, of Middlebury College and received her law degree from Rutgers University School of Law - Newark, where she was a member of the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal. She received her master of laws in taxation from Villanova University School of Law. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.
Battaglia is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Department and is a member of the Planned Real Estate Practice Group. She concentrates her practice in planned real estate development and community association law. Prior to joining the firm, Battaglia served as an associate at another New Jersey law firm as a member of the Community Associations and General Litigation Practice Groups where she provided legal counsel and services to various community associations and was involved in collection, construction defect and commercial litigation matters. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable William L'E. Wertheimer, Superior Court of New Jersey, Presiding Judge, Civil Part. She is a graduate, magna cum laude, of Rider University, and earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where she was a member of the Women’s Law Forum and participated in the Interscholastic Moot Court Competition. She is a member of the New Jersey Chapter of the Community Associations Institute and the New Jersey State and American Bar Associations. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey.
