Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP partner John D. North was recently named Treasurer of the Trial Attorneys of New Jersey (TANJ). TANJ is a non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve and improve the Civil and Criminal Justice System in New Jersey, and maintain the central role of the jury in the justice system. TANJ provides its members with a wide range of services including legal education, leadership and advocacy on issues that affect the quality of life of lawyers, judges and litigants, and a forum for plaintiff and defense trial lawyers to share ideas to advance the common interests of the entire Trial Bar.
North is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department and focuses his practice in commercial litigation, construction litigation and in professional liability and negligence matters. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Litigation Counsel of America, and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and the Million Dollar Advocates’ Forum. He is listed in Super Lawyers – New Jersey Edition 2008 in the Civil Litigation Defense practice area. He is also an associate member of the American Association for Justice.
