Joel ClymerJoel Clymer, a partner in the firm’s Employment Law and Litigation Departments, has been sworn in as President-Elect of the Garden State Bar Association (GSBA).  His previous leadership roles in the GSBA, New Jersey's oldest and largest professional organization for African-American judges, lawyers, and law students, include serving as Secretary and Treasurer of the group.

Mr. Clymer was recognized by the GSBA with the 2024 Raymond A. Brown Award and received a 2024 Professional Lawyer of the Year Award from the GSBA and the New Jersey Commission on Professionalism in the Law.

A member of the firm's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion leadership team, Mr. Clymer primarily focuses his practice on employment litigation, counseling and employment-related workplace investigations.

Since 1975, the GSBA has continuously assisted African-Americans and other ethnic minorities in becoming an effective part of the judicial and legal systems.

The GSBA also seeks to advance the science of jurisprudence, improve the administration of justice, support initiatives designed to improve economic condition of all individuals, and eliminate discrimination and inequality based on racial, ethnic or sexual considerations.
