Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is proud to announce that our partner Nancy Isaacson will serve as an inaugural board member and Secretary of the Jewish Bar Association of New Jersey (JBAR), newly formed as a full-service affinity bar organization serving the needs of New Jersey’s Jewish legal community and its affiliates.  

JBAR’s mission is to provide continuing legal education, mentorship, support to Jewish law students, advocacy, networking, resources, and profile-raising initiatives that promote both its young attorneys and established leaders of the bar. Members will represent a wide range of demographics, practice areas, firm sizes, and areas of New Jersey, and come from the private, public, corporate, higher education, nonprofit sectors, as well as legal professional services. Ms. Isaacson focuses her practice in the area of bankruptcy and insolvency, with an emphasis on trustee and creditor rights law. She serves as a Chapter 7, Chapter 11 and Chapter 11 Subchapter V Trustee for debtors in federal bankruptcy proceedings and has represented appellants in cases before the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. She has achieved a national profile in her area of practice through her involvement in a number of large bankruptcy matters representing tort claimants and landlords. She is an approved mediator for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of New Jersey.
