Christine F. Li will serve as moderator and program coordinator – and Steven G. Mlenak and Caroline Record as presenters – for the “Community Association Conference 2024,” to be held at the New Jersey Law Center on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 9:00am – 4:15pm. The seminar, presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE) in cooperation with the New Jersey State Bar Association Real Property, Trust & Estate Law Section, will also be available for online viewing.

This popular full-day program, offered by NJICLE for the 14th consecutive year, features a panel of distinguished community association practitioners and consultants who will analyze key issues faced today by community associations and their boards. The discussion will focus on developments impacting the community association practice and the legal profession in general.  Artificial Intelligence, the Corporate Transparency Act and the Structural Integrity legislation which became law in January 2024 will be explored.

Mr. Mlenak will present a segment on “Dealing with Expiring Affordability Controls,” while Ms. Record will moderate a lunchtime presentation on “Hot Topics” challenging the community association practice area.
