Caroline Record, Co-Chair of the firm’s Community Association Practice Group, will be an instructor for the course “Manager and the Law,” a two-day live virtual presentation to be hosted by the Community Associations Institute (CAI) on Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26, 2024 from 12:00pm – 3:00pm each day.
This course offers realistic ways to deal with the legal issues managers of common interest communities face on the job. By reviewing cases that have impacted community associations and exploring a case step by step, the program will provide a greater understanding of how the legal system works and how the law affects managers and their day-to-day operations.

- Management agreements
- Manager liability
- Rules interpretation, enforcement and adoption
A partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, Ms. Record concentrates her practice in community association law, dealing with the unique issues that impact common interest communities such as condominium and homeowner associations (HOAs) and cooperatives.
