Greenbaum, Rowe, Smith & Davis LLP is pleased to welcome two students from Rutgers Law School – Newark as returning participants in the firm’s annual Summer Associate Program for 2023.

Alicia Fiorina is a 2024 J.D. candidate at Rutgers Law School – Newark after earning her Master of Arts degree from New York University and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. The recipient of a Rutgers Law Scholarship for Academic Excellence, Ms. Fiorina’s law school activities include serving as Staff Editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion and participation in the Rutgers Minority Student Program, the Association of Black Law Students, the Association of Latin American Law Students, and the Intellectual Property Law Society.

Cristian Gomez is a 2024 J.D. candidate at Rutgers Law School – Newark after earning her Bachelor of Arts degree from Herbert H. Lehman College.  Her law school activities include serving as Associate Editor of the Rutgers Law Women's Rights Law Reporter, participation in the Rutgers Minority Student Program, and serving as a 1L representative in the Women’s Law Forum and the Association of Latin American Law Students. Prior to law school, Ms. Gomez served as lead paralegal at a New York firm focused on immigration law. Her volunteer experience includes We Speak NYC, the NYC Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs, and the NYC Board of Elections.

Ms. Fiorina and Ms. Gomez participated in the firm’s 2022 Summer Associate program, where they gained tangible legal experience while working with partners and associates at the firm. Our summer associates receive direct exposure to the legal process by attending closings, hearings/trials, depositions, negotiations and business meetings that take place throughout the summer. Seminars, luncheons and outings offer informal settings to further develop professional and personal ties to the firm and its attorneys.

Greenbaum’s summer program is coordinated by our partner Stephanie G. Reckord, who as a former Greenbaum summer associate herself can personally attest to the value provided to participants in the program.
